Ecoships, a fully owned subsidiary of Newport Shipping Group, is a technical ship management company  specializing in eco-friendly and fuel-efficient shipping technologies. Ecoships is incorporated and located in Istanbul, Turkey.

Ecoships provides a wide range of innovative technical services both for its own fleet and third party owners to enhance the safety and performance of the vessels under its management.

We specialize in dry-cargo vessels, tankers and chemical tankers. Our bulk vessels segment is backed by significant experience with the technical management of bulk vessels of various tonnages. These include open hatch vessels, handysize,  handymax, panamax and capesize bulkers.

Our senior management has extensive ship-owning, ship-broking and finance industry experience having spent decades in leading companies in Oslo, Istanbul, New York, Singapore, Hong Kong and Jakarta.

Over the past decade, our team has technically managed and supervised ship management services on more than 50 vessels.

Ecoships and Newport management have intractably been involved in setting up multiple shipping companies, contracting new-building vessels and successfully commercially and technically managing these fleets for almost two decades. Such companies include but are not limited to UAE based Combined Cargo UAE, Emirates Ship Investment Company, Eships Tankers, United Arab Chemical Carriers, Bulktransfer Ltd., and EOL Logistics.

Ship management is our core strength. Throughout our careers, we have ensured safe, profitable and secure management of our own ships and on behalf of demanding third party owners. We have overseen and managed full life-cycle of hundreds of diverse vessels throughout their complete life cycle, from design, through construction, operational life, dry-docking, modernization to recycling.
