Getaş International Supervision Representation Co. Inc.

The foundation of GETAŞ International Inspection Co. Inc. was in 1971 and headquartered in İzmit/Kocaeli. Years after foundation GETAŞ was making Petroleum Products, LPG and Lube Oil transportation until 1985. GETAŞ with its new formation, recognized by the Undersecretariat of Foreign Trade as an International Inspection Company on 30 July 1985. Furthermore GETAŞ started working on the Quality Management System and Accreditation Project at the end of year 2005 and with a great achievement, accredited by Turkish Accreditation Agency (TURKAK) as A-type Inspection Body according to EN ISO/IEC 17020 on 15 January 2007. With this accreditation GETAŞ took the second place among accredited inspection companies in its field of activity. GETAŞ therefore achieved to be the leader at some fields in our country, even in the world, according to its scope of accreditation. (*) Besides, GETAŞ is the first inspection body in Turkey having IFIA (International Federation of Inspection Agencies), IP (Institute of Petroleum) and EI (Energy Institute-London) certified inspector of petroleum in its organization.
